Anyone tried replacing the batteries with more modern alternatives?
I got two units on ebay as I always wanted one when I was in school.
Now as an adult I am going to play with this thing now! Should be fun to hack!

I used to use Toshiba Size F5 gumstick batteries for my classics... they worked... but now I can't find those exact batteries... I have some Xtreme units too, but I have never looked into battery replacements for them...

It might be possible to utilize a modern replacement, anyone know what the specifications of the batteries are?
I'm looking at picking one up soon and will have to see if an adapter using modern Li-technology can be made.
